Happy Birthday MeiMei

MeiMei turned one - and boy did she have fun with her cake.

What a Sunday morning!

This morning started out as a typical Sunday morning – cuddle time with mom in bed. Jericho plays adorably with Cocoa almost all of the time. This morning he was pretending to fall off the bed and Cocoa was using all of his strength to pull him up on the bed. Cocoa suddenly changed tactics and PUSHED Jericho off the bed. I thought he was going to wake up the neighbors with his screaming. Well, seven stitches later and Jericho is as good as new – and still loves his little brother. ☺

Want a ride?

Would you rather have a ride in a laundry basket...

or on my shoulders?

Cocoa is learning Love and Logic at an early age. You know the routine, give them two choices, either of which is okay with the parent.

Throw in a little Brian Regan and we might hear MeiMei say, "They're both... favorites, so either one is good, but if they have both, I'll get grape, because grape is a little more favorite. But if they don't have grape it's like alright its fine, cause cherry's favorite anyway. It's like another favorite, but not as much. Not as much favorite. But they're both good. They're both good."

And for those of you that aren't BR fans, you should be. :)

What do you do when your toddler is making a HUGE mess and his siblings are egging him on? Take a picture because at some point, you'll laugh about it.

Valentine's Day - Part 2

AJ won Mr. Valentine, but I didn't want to be left out of the fun. I saw these amazing kites at Sam's Club today and thought, even though Valentine's Day has come and gone, I can still get these fun kites and write my sweet boys a cute note. Can't wait for them to get home from school and see the surprise on their bed. Note the unmade beds - didn't even bother me today. :)

Valentine's Day

Well, AJ wins the award as Mr. Valentine this year. What a gem! Greg and I got home around 11:00 pm on Saturday night, so we decided to save the unpacking until Sunday morning. Of course the kids were wondering about their souvenirs and I was wanting to get the house back to normal. I had promised the boys some homemade buttermilk pancakes, but time was slipping away. AJ went into the kitchen and just started making pancakes on his own. Not only that, but he added his own special touch to celebrate Valentine's Day - red food coloring to the pancakes and milk.

Watch out girls - he's smart, athletic, and a great cook!
